Terms of service
Last updated: 9 July 2026
Plain-English terms for using Possible Forms. By using the app or buying a subscription you agree to these.
What this is
Possible Forms is a desktop-browser note-taking app. The free plan stores notes locally on your machine. The Pro subscription adds sync between machines and version history.
Beta status
The product is in beta. Things will occasionally be rough, and features may change or be removed. We work hard to protect your data — and the app makes full export a single keystroke precisely so you always hold your own backup. Please use it.
Billing and refunds
Subscriptions are sold by Paddle as merchant of record — Paddle is the seller on your receipt, and their buyer terms govern payment, refunds and taxes. Cancel any time; Pro features remain active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds: if something's wrong, email support@possibleforms.com within 14 days of a charge and we'll sort it — the full policy is at possibleforms.com/refunds. We'd rather refund you than have you feel stuck with something that isn't working for you.
The founding price promise
The first 100 subscribers pay the founding price — £30/year or £3/month — and that price is locked for as long as the subscription remains active. If you cancel and return later, the then-current price applies. Future price changes will never touch an active founding subscription.
If your subscription ends
Your synced data is kept, not deleted: sync and version-history viewing lock, everything else keeps working locally, and export always works. Resubscribing picks up where you left off. You can request deletion of synced data at any time via support@possibleforms.com.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to store or distribute unlawful material, don't attempt to break or overload the sync service, and don't resell access. That's it.
Support
Supported platform: desktop browsers. There's no SLA during the beta, but support@possibleforms.com reaches the person who builds the product, and real answers come back.
Liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
If these terms change materially we'll email subscribers before the change takes effect.
